- Why approach Summit?
THE ISSUE
The organisation had a longstanding reputation for having high standards in their craftmanship, and wanted to ensure this high standard carried through to the level of staff conduct and the quality of their workplace environment. The client wished to ensure employees across the business were aware of their personal responsibilities when it came to preventing and calling out workplace bullying and harassment, but also that each member of staff was equipped with a practical, structured, and safe method for calling out bullying in a positive manner. It was also necessary to clarify what is and is not bullying behaviour, including any ambiguity between what is bullying and what is simply assertive performance management.
We were so pleased with the programme content, which had been tailored with our company’s specific requirements in mind it was rolled out to our entire workforce.
- How Summit can help
THE SOLUTION
A one-day Bullying and Harassment Awareness course delivered at the client’s site in London. The event used engaging discussions and interactive activities to bring the subject to life and give participants a genuine understanding of the necessity of bullying and harassment awareness within the organisation.
Summit’s approach helped us refine our internal policy and we are happy to report that we have already seen positive changes in the way our team approaches situations dealing with this delicate subject.
